...where the High Weald begins...The village of Bidborough is situated about five miles from Tunbridge Wells and has a population of approximately 970. The village has a primary school, pub and restaurant, garage, shop and post office.

The village hall is very well used by many clubs and societies including the dramatic society, woodland group, nursery group, W.I., gardening society, brownies and badminton.

Sports facilities are also good in the parish, there are tennis courts, a bowls green and two recreation ground areas are available for cricket and five a side football which are also popular.
In addition to the recreation ground, the Parish Council is also responsible for the maintenance of Birch Wood and Brook Hurst Field. The parish is active in initiating projects such as the Village of the Year competition and Bidborough in Bloom.
